በኢትዮጵያ ስፔስ ሳይንስ ሶሳይቲ አባል እና በጎ ፈቃደኛ የነበረው ተማሪ አማኑኤል ዱታሞ ባጋጠመው ድንገተኛ ህልፈተ ህይወት የተሰማንን መሪር ሃዘን ለመግለጽ እንወዳለን።
ተማሪ አማኑኤል ዱታሞ፤ በሕዋ ሳይንሱ ላይ የራሱን አስተዋጽዖ ለማድረግ ከነበረው ከፍተኛ ፍላጎት እና ለዘርፉ ከነበረው ከፍተኛ ፍቅር የተነሳ ፤ በሶሳይቲያችን ልዩ ልዩ መረሃግብሮች በበጎ ፈቃደኝነት አገልግሎት ላለፉት ሦሥት ዓመታት ሀገሩን በጥልቅ ፍቅር አገልግሏል። ተማሪ አማኑኤል ለሕዋው ሳይንስ ያበረከተው አስተዋጽዖ ከርሱ ጋር አብረው ለመስራት ዕድል ባገኙት ኹሉ በልባቸው ሲታወስ ይኖራል።
በተማሪ አማኑኤል ዱታሞ ህልፈተ ህይወት የተሰማንን ጥልቅ ሀዘን በድጋሚ እየገለጽን ፤ ለቤተሰቦቹ ፣ ጓደኞቹ እና ለመላው የሕዋ ሳይንስ ማኅበረሰብ መጽናናትን እንመኛለን።

On Saturday, we had an exciting session with Professor Mirjana Pović, who delivered a lecture on the basics of Observational Astronomy to participants of our Citizen Science Project initiative.
Prof. Mirjana's talk provided foundational knowledge to support their research and observations, helping participants gain a better understanding of how to work with and interpret the data they will collect through the Las Cumbres Observatory.

ESSS at the STEEP STEM Career Fair
On May 24, the Ethiopian Space Science Society (ESSS) participated in the STEM Career Fair organized by the STEM Education for Empowerment Project (STEEP), implemented by HaHuJobs at Dejazmach Wondirad Secondary School. During the event, ESSS introduced students to its mission and work in space science, delivered a classroom presentation on observational astronomy, and engaged participants at its booth with telescope displays and interactive demonstrations. The fair provided an inspiring platform to ignite curiosity and encourage girls to envision careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
