2025Talks 11: Meeting with my colleague, friend and brother, Islombek Sayfiddinov
• Islombek aka ham IELTS ZONE da "gigant ustozlar"dan hisoblanadi. Kecha Idea-exchange meetinga taklif qildim va judayam ko'p insaytlar oldim.
✅ Shu mavzularda suhbatlashdik:
• The right mindset to Teaching
• Personal life
• How to choose a life partner
• Bu suhbatdan man ko'p matvassa oldim, chunki o'qituvchilikdagi ayrim muammolar faqat manda bo'ladi, mani o'zimda ayb deb o'ylardim, lekin ular hamma o'qituvchilarda ham uchrayotganini guvohi bo'ldim.
• Islombek akani 2ta gapi miyamga o'rnashib qoldi. Haliyam o'ylab yuribman:
1. Siz qancha harakat qilsangiz ham, natijaga chiqish o'quvchini o'ziga bog'liq.
2. Muammo materiallarda emas. Har qanday material (kitoblar) o'quvchilarni ko'zlagan maqsadiga yetkazadi. Shunchaki, siz "perfectionist" bo'lmang.
— Xullas, o'zim uchun anchagacha yetadigan energiya oldim. Ustozga suhbat uchun katta rahmat.

Silaga aytsam, eng ko'p o'sishimga sabab bo'layotgan faktor bu — fikr almashish uchrashuvlari bo'lyapti.
Har safar bir dunyo matvassa olib kelaman. O'rgangan narsalarimni tezda qo'llab ko'ryapman.
— Shu kungacha man bilan fikr almashgan barchaga rahmat!

Task 2: Discussion Essay
Many languages are at risk of disappearance due to a limited number of speakers. Although some people think that saving these languages is essential, I would argue that spending public funds on preserving them is a waste of money.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why saving minority languages could be seen as important. Languages enrich cultural diversity, which means that each language plays a significant role in society. With the death of a language, a whole culture disappears with it. In other words, future generations will not have a sense of identity, and they may lose connection with their heritage.
Despite the above arguments, I am convinced that minority languages are a waste of resources. If a language is spoken by a very small number of people, it is not beneficial for the country’s economy and tourism at all. Instead, it may require the government to allocate a considerable amount of money to saving these rare languages. Moreover, opening special educational centres, hiring language teachers and publishing textbooks to teach that language would be too expensive. In my opinion, this money would be better used to improve public services, such as hospitals and transportation to enhance the overall lives of the population. For example, the funding can be redirected to build hospitals in rural areas.
In conclusion, while some hold the view that preventing minority languages from disappearing is vital, in my view, allocating resources to saving them would be too costly, which could be better spent on improving essential public services.
