College of Social Sciences and Humanities Honors Outstanding Students with the College Dean's Award

Addis Ababa Science and Technology University continues its proud tradition of recognizing academic excellence through its annual awards. Each year, students who achieve high GPA are celebrated with the prestigious Presidential and Dean’s Awards, honoring their outstanding performance.
In this spirit, the College of Social Sciences and Humanities has recognized 158 exceptional students with the College Dean’s Award. This year’s honorees include male students with GPAs ranging from 3.75 to 3.84 and female students with GPAs from 3.5 to 3.74. The award acknowledges their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.
During the award ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented by Dr. Befikadu Lemma, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. In his remarks, Dr. Befikadu highlighted the importance of a strong foundation in the humanities.

ለዩኒቨርሲቲው የካውንሲል አባላት በቀጣይ የሚተገበረውን የመንግስት አገልግሎት አስተዳደር ሪፎርም ላይ በዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር ደረጀ እንግዳ ገለፃ ተደርጓለል፡፡ ገለፃው የካውንስል አባላት በመንግስት አገልግሎት አስተዳደር ሪፎርም ፖሊሲ ፤የመንግስት ሰራተኞች ብቃት ማዕቀፍ ፤ምዘናና እና ስልጠና አተገባበር እንዲሁም የመንግስት አገልግሎት ማሻሻያ ላይ ግንዛቤ እንዲኖራቸውን እና ተገቢውን ዝግጅት እንዲያደርጉ ያለመ ነው፡፡

ኢትዮጵያውያን ተማሪዎች በቻይና የሁዋዌ ቴክ ፎር ጉድ ግሎባል ውድድርን አሸነፉ

የኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች የሁዋዌ ሲድስ ፎር ዘ ፊውቸር ቴክ ፎር ጉድ ግሎባል ውድድርን አንደኛ በመሆን አሸንፈዋል።
ውድድሩ ከመጋቢት 29 እስከ ሚያዝያ 9 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም በሚቆየውና በቻይና ቤጂንግ እና ሼንዘን የሚገኙ የቴክኖሎጂ ማዕከሎችን ጉብኝትና የተግባር ስልጠናዎችን ባካተተው ዝግጅት ነው የተካሄደው፡፡

በ6 ተማሪዎች የተወከለው የኢትዮጵያ ቡድን ተማሪዎቹን ከአዲስ አበባ፣ ሃሮማያ፣ ጅማ፣ ወልቂጤ እና አዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ማሰባሰቡ ተገልጿል፡፡

ኢትዮጵያውያኑ ከሞሮኮ፣ ደቡብ አፍሪካ፣ አርጀንቲና፣ አየርላንድ፣ ማላዊ፣ ቬትናም፣ የተባበሩት ዓረብ ኤሚሬቶች እና ሌሎችን ጨምሮ ከዓለም ዙሪያ ከተውጣጡ 12 ልዩ ቡድኖች ጋር መወዳደራቸው ተጠቁሟል፡፡

ተማሪዎቹ የእንስሳት ሕመሞችን አስቀድሞ ለመለየት በተዘጋጀውና በአርተፊሻል አስተውሎት በጎለበተው ኤርሊ ቬት በተሰኘው ፕሮጀክታቸው የተወዳደሩ ሲሆን÷በዚህም ትኩረት ለመሳብ መቻላቸው ነው የተገለጸው፡፡

ይህ የፈጠራ ፕሮጀክት ከተባበሩት መንግስታት የዘላቂ ልማት ግቦች በተለይም ግብ 2 "ዜሮ ርሃብ" እና ግብ 15 "ህይወት በምድር" ከሚለው ጋር የተጣጣመ ነው ተብሏል፡፡

በግብርና እና በእንስሳት ጤና ላይ ያሉ ወሳኝ ተግዳሮቶችን ይፈታል ተብሎ እንደሚታመን በውድድሩ መብራራቱንም የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር መረጃ ያመላክታል፡፡

የሁዋዌ ኢትዮጵያ የህዝብ ግንኙነት ዳይሬክተር ሚስተር ሊሚንግ ዬ÷ ድሉ የኢትዮጵያውያን ወጣቶች ልዩ ችሎታ እና ፈጠራ የታየበት ነው ብለዋል።

መጪው ትውልድ ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እያደገ በመጣው የቴክኖሎጂ ገጽታ ውስጥ እንዲበለጽግ በሚያስፈልገውን ድጋፍ እና እድሎች ማመቻቸቱን ለማስቀጠል ሁዋዌ ቁርጠኛ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

Congratulations once again to Bisrat Kebere and Biyaol Mesay, students of Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, who were among the six representatives of Ethiopia at the Huawei Seeds for the Future – Tech for Good Global Competition held in China. Your achievement brings pride to the university and inspires future innovators across the nation.

Mr. Hailegebrel Zewdie defends his PhD dissertation.

PhD candidate Mr. Hailegebrel has successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled "Investigation of tribological behavior, engine performance and emission characteristics of diesel fuel using vegetable oil additives and its effect as biodiesel". He has conducted the study under the supervision of Dr. Ing. Getachew Shunki and Dr. Dinku Seyoum.
