I want to connect my ear pods Boat Aipdopes Primo to my hackintosh laptop with an Intel AC9560 card. It first connected but no audio then I added bluetoothExternalDongleFailed and other NVRAM things and it started playing audio. but it stutters heavily and it disconnects few times. I am on Ventura 13.7. Please help me with this.
Good day

edit 1: it kinda works okay when I am at a specific distance from the screen. But its not wireless interference as it happened even when there is no device around.

Need help starting Hackintosh on Ryzen 5 4600G (no experience)

Hey everyone 👋

I’m completely new to Hackintosh and honestly don’t know where to start. I’ve been reading a bit but most guides seem advanced or assume you already understand how OpenCore or macOS images work.

Here’s my current situation:

* I’m running **Windows** on my main SSD and don’t want to mess it up.
* I have a **spare 128GB SSD** that I want to use just to experiment with macOS first.
* My specs:
* **CPU:** Ryzen 5 4600G
* **RAM:** 16 GB

Since I’m a total beginner, I’d really appreciate:

1. A **beginner-friendly guide** or video on how to set this up (especially for AMD CPUs).
2. Recommendations for which **macOS version** (Ventura, Sonoma, etc.) is best for my hardware.
3. Where can I get the **macOS files**
4. Any **tips or warnings** before I start?

Thanks in advance! I want to learn how to Hackintosh

Secure Boot for Windows and OpenCore impossible on Gigabyte board

Hey there,

Got a Gigabyte B760 Gaming X DDR4 with most up-to-date BIOS. I normally would use the OpenCore bootloader to switch between Windows 10, Ubuntu and macOS.

I tried signing the OpenCore efi binaries and drivers using this guide: https://github.com/profzei/Matebook-X-Pro-2018/wiki/Enable-BIOS-Secure-Boot-with-OpenCore

Booted into Ubuntu, generated the keys, mounted my OpenCore EFI drive, took all the binaries, put them into a folder together with the extracted Private and Public Keys. openssl signed EACH of the .efi contained in the OpenCore folder and subfolders. Put the signed binaries back into the EFI bootloader, copied the private and public keys onto the drive. Went into my BIOS, tried many approaches but yet it seems impossible with a Gigabyte BIOS.

There is a working method of getting Secure Boot working but you cannot access BIOS and I also cannot boot into OpenCore, it basically just boots into Windows from a blank screen with no options. I then have to flash my BIOS flash using Q-Flash on a USB stick (which I presume makes my generated PK/KEK/db keys all obsolete).

After much agony I at least managed that Secure Boot works, IF ONLY TO THE EXTEND that it ONLY boots straight into Windows without giving me any possibility to access the BIOS menu. Weird.

Here's what I did after a complete BIOS flash (manufacturer settings).

Enable XMP Profile 1, Enable Re-Size Bar, Check if CSM is disabled, Check if TPM is enabled.

First Boot:

1) Set Secure Boot to Disabled

2) Set Secure Boot from Standard to Custom

3) Restore Vendor Keys, when asked DONT REBOOT WITHOUT SAVING

4) Save Settings and Reboot

Second Boot

1) Go to Secure Boot - Set from Custom to Standard

2) WHEN ASKED TO REBOOT WITOUT SAVING -> CANCEL

3) Set Secure Boot to Enable

4) Safe and Reboot.

Unfortunately, I cant access OpenCore and my other partitions AND I cannot access bios that way. The PC starts with a blank screen and after 2 minutes I'm in Windows. I want OpenCore to work. :(

This is not what I think should happen. So up for any ideas here really.

Help me with my Ryzentosh

Gentlemans, I can use a little bit of help from you.

I'm trying for a couple of weeks to install MacOS on my laptop, witch is a MSI Bravo 15 a4ddr.

As specs, I have the following configuration:

1. Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H (6 cores, 12 threads, base frequency 3.0 GHz, boost up to 4.0 GHz)
2. Graphics (dGPU): AMD Radeon RX 5500M (4 GB GDDR6 VRAM)
3. Integrated Graphics: AMD Radeon Vega Graphics (built into Ryzen 5 4600H)
4. RAM: 32 GB
5. Storage: 2x 512Gb ssd NVMe
6. Network Adapters:
Wi-Fi: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200
Ethernet: Realtek

Long story short, I tried up to 6 different EFI builds (made from scratch by me or using OPC Simplify) and everytime I'm welcomed by a Kernel panic error (or what I believe is a Kernel panic error): a screen when I can see 'http://support.apple.com/mac/startup' under a crossed circle . Based on that, I have some questions that I have to ask:

1. There is something wrong with my configuration?
2. Can one of the issues be the fact that:
I generate a bad SMBIOS? I ask that because everytime when I try to verify the SN on apple check coverage the page refreshed by itself and show me a message like "Please try again later".
I used a bad combination of kext files? If can help (and I am allowed to do that), I can provide a list with all the kexts I used.

Just as a mention, in every build I used everything debug (besides a couple of kexts that does not have a debug variant), but I didn't have the possibility to capture the commands that appear on the screen before that screen appears.

Help with GPU Disabling

I've tried a few methods to disable the GPU, but since I haven't had any success with my installation attempts, I have no idea if what I did was correct. So, I'm leaving it here for review.

First, the **location path** data from Windows Device Manager:
`AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT`
`PCIROOT(0)#PCI(0100)#PCI(0000)#PCI(0000)#PCI(0000)`
`ACPI(_SB_)#ACPI(PC00)#ACPI(PEG1)#ACPI(PEGP)#PCI(0000)#PCI(0000)`

**Method 1:**
ProperTree > config.plist > Root > DeviceProperties > Add >

PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) | Dictionary | 1 key/value pair
> disable-gpu | Boolean | True

**Method 2:**
SSDT-GPU-DISABLE.aml

DefinitionBlock ("", "SSDT", 2, "DRTNIA", "spoof", 0x00000000)
{
External (_SB_.PC00.PEG1.PEGP, DeviceObj)

Method (_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method
{
If ((!Arg2 || (_OSI ("Darwin") == Zero)))
{
Return (Buffer (One)
{
0x03 // .
})
}

Return (Package (0x0A)
{
"name",
Buffer (0x09)
{
"#display"
},

"IOName",
"#display",
"class-code",
Buffer (0x04)
{
0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF // ....
},

"vendor-id",
Buffer (0x04)
{
0xFF, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x00 // ....
},

"device-id",
Buffer (0x04)
{
0xFF, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x00 // ....
}
})
}
}

**Additional notes:**
1. Both methods are given in the [Dortania guide](https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/extras/spoof.html#windows-gpu-selection). However, there is a second version of the instructions for the [Method 2](https://github.com/dortania/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/blob/master/Desktops/desktop-disable.md) that mentions changing parts of the path, but it neither provides any explanation why nor does it provide enough examples of changes to deconstruct the logic behind the changes.

2. The second link uses this line:

If ((!Arg2 || (_OSI ("Darwin") == Zero)))

As well as includes this code at the end:

"vendor-id",
Buffer (0x04)
{
0xFF, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x00
},

"device-id",
Buffer (0x04)
{
0xFF, 0xFF, 0x00, 0x00

Whereas the first link does not include "== Zero" or the "vendor-id" and "device-id" parts.

So, for anyone knowledgeable, please let me know if what I've done is correct.

Hackintosh with macOS Tahoe – System Keeps Forgetting Password?

Hey everyone,
I recently built a Hackintosh and installed macOS Tahoe (26.0). The installation went smoothly, but I’m running into a strange issue: every time I reboot, the system seems to forget the password I set during setup. I’m 100% sure I’m typing it correctly, but it just won’t accept it after a restart.

Has anyone else experienced this with Tahoe? Could it be related to FileVault 2 or OpenCore settings? I’ve already tried resetting the password via recovery, but the issue keeps coming back.

Any ideas or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Finally got it working after years — few questions about older macOS versions

Hey everyone,

I tried getting Tahoe to work about 7–10 years ago back in the Clover days, but it was such a pain that I eventually gave up. My brother actually managed to get it running on his laptop back then, but I never had much luck.

This time around I decided to give it another shot and it worked with the first try Using OpenCore and following the Dortania guide made the process was east. Everything seems to be working fine now apart from:

**Specs:**

* Core i3-9100F
* 16 GB RAM
* RX 580 8 GB
* 1 TB SSD
* Asus ROG B360-I

No kernel panics, no crashes — it just works. The only thing that’s not working is **AirDrop**, which I’m guessing is because of my Intel Wi-Fi card. Bluetooth works fine though (I can connect my keyboard without issues).

So my question is:
Since I don’t really want to buy an external adapter, would it make sense to install an **older version of macOS** instead? If so, which version would be best for my setup?

I mainly use macOS for browsing and work-related stuff, and I’ve got Windows on dual boot for everything else.

This is my first time posting here, so let me know if I missed any details.
