Warning to fellow travelers: There is a suspected money fraud in the name of ALLWIN ANTONY in vyttla metro station, asking for money for bus travelling.

I was walking out of the metro station when he confronted me and started talking about himself, he said he is from Calicut, came for an interview got stuck and the convo carried on. He ended with just asking Rs80 so that he can travel via bus. You might think that this was obvious but the way he talked seemed to be so genuine.

When I agreed he asked for 120, that I refused and when my suspicion began. I send him 80, he said he will pay back soon and he was off and started talking to the next person nearby. I was in a hurry so I rushed back. On the way back I checked his number in Truecaller and it read Alwin Money fraud.
The number was just PhonePe and cannot receive calls nor WhatsApp.
Too bad there is no other way for me to raise this suspicion.

Why ECI press meets only in Hindi?

ECI is not just for North India, it represents the whole of India. But during press meets, most of the speeches are only in Hindi. How will people from other states understand if they don’t know the language? At least English or regional languages should also be used so that the message reaches everyone clearly.

Question for Malayali men, as a North Indian girl I want to know if you would actually date or even marry someone like us seriously?

I’m a North Indian girl (Uttarakhand, living in
Mumbai rn) and during my college days I realised something funny about myself. Almost every guy I found attractive turned out to be Malayali. I don’t know how or why, but I feel naturally drawn towards them. I’ve never been to Kerala, but this made me curious about the culture. I ended up watching a few Malayalam movies and reading about it, and I honestly admire how unique it all feels. The only thing is that the language is really tough for me. Unlike Punjabi or Marathi, which are still somewhat linked to Hindi, Malayalam feels completely different and very hard to understand.

The memes, the movies, the humour, the way of life — all of it feels very different from what I grew up with. At the same time, those differences are also what make me more curious and interested. I really like the personality and vibe of many Malayali guys I’ve met so far, but I do wonder how relationships like this are seen within Malayali families and culture. Would they ever be open to it, or is it considered too unusual?

So my question is mainly for the men here. What do you think about North Indian girls? Would you ever date one seriously or even consider marriage? Or is it usually seen as something casual and short term? Some of my friends told me that many Malayali guys prefer to stay within their culture, and if they date outside, it’s rarely for the long run. That honestly made me a little nervous, so I’d really like to hear your honest and unbiased opinions. Please be honest🙏🏼
