What does “too mee” mean in cooking?
I have my late grandfather’s recipes and I want to try them but there are some words I don’t know and can’t find online.
Specifically, the phrase is “too mee all ingredients until fragrant”—I’m guessing it has something to do with frying, maybe in a cast iron skillet?

Palestine cause: the tale of Malay & Chinese hypocrites
Zionism is an imperial-colonial project, I find both Malays and Chinese are hypocrites - for different reasons - and probably misunderstood the Gaza war as a religious conflict, in actuality it is an imperialist project by the western empire (aka the US & it's Western allies).
Malays are hypocrites because, let's be real, they only support Gaza because of religion, humanitarian is secondary. Look at the way they treated refugees in Malaysia (including Palestinian refugees), Malaysians dgaf abt refugees and their human rights. Their mantra is 'as long as its not on my backyard'.
Malays are also hypocrites because they have zero idea what zionism is exactly, to them, Zionists = Jews. That's just wrong. In fact, the Zionist project didn't get any support from the West or the global Jews until post-WW2. They had to manufacture the Jewish identity = ethnic identity. That's because in the past, Judaism has never been an ethnic identity, a yemeni jew and a Polish Jew have NOTHING IN COMMON. They place their national and cultural identity above their religious identity.
The worst is Malays who are Malay supremacist/ Malay first. You cannot be anti-Zionist while being pro-Malay supremacy in Malaysia. Isn't it ironic. In fact, it is fair to call Malay supremacist as Malay Zionist.
For Chinese hypocrites, they also misunderstood zionism as a religious conflict. They are too blinded by their hatred/racism against the ordinary Malays that anything Islam is bad. They failed to realise that most Malays are not Malay supremacists, they just want to live a normal life that are equal and fair to all.
Worse for these Chinese hypocrites calling out other Chinese who choose to support the Palestinian cause as 'traitors' or 'bootlickers' to Malays and Muslims, when they have zero clue abt the genocide in Gaza and what Zionism even entails. To them, Pro-Palestine = pro-islam = pro-Malay = traitor Chinese. They dgaf abt genocide or dead children since they are 'Muslims', while at the same time these Chinese hypocrites cried racism and call themselves as second class citizens. Isn't it ironic.
One thing we all can do now is to get educated on global issues, don't be that bigot idiot.
But more importantly, Instead of directing their anger against the majority Malays, the chinese should organise themselves and work together with Malays. We need to get educated abt class war & realise that the Malay elites and their cronies (whom are mostly Malays and Chinese elites with deep pockets) are exploiting the race based politics here to enrich themselves. Malaysia has a high wealth inequality and that's the core of our race base politics here.

What do you usually get for birthday gifts for friends in Malaysia?
Hi guys! I’m a Korean student studying here in Malaysia, and my friend’s birthday is coming soon. Back in Korea, we usually give things like cosmetics, perfume, or sometimes just gather for cake + dinner.
But I notice here in Malaysia the vibe feels a bit different. Do you guys normally buy practical stuff like bags/wallets, or more fun things like plushies and gadgets? Or is it more about experiences like makan together, karaoke, short trips, etc.?
I was even thinking of getting a Legendary Perfume since I saw it’s quite popular as a Malaysian souvenir (and honestly the packaging looks really classy). But I also want to know what locals usually prefer, so I don’t look too “foreigner” when I choose ㅋㅋㅋ 😅
Would love to hear your ideas. So what’s the go-to birthday gift here?
