Bandar Utama school stabbing was insane

I'm a form 2 student at the school this happened in. We were doing our sejarah exam when this kid killed the girl. He killed her at the toilet and ignored my friend. He stabbed like 3 people I think and from what I've heard from teachers and friends all of them are very very bad. I'm not close to any of the victims but some of my friends are and they are completely devastated. Now I just don't know where to go. I've been hearing about so much bullshit happening at other schools now a whole ass murder at my school. Where are my friends and I supposed to go and be safe.

Some more details of you want:
The kid was standing in the middle of school on the lowest floor where everyone could see him and he was just waving his knife around. My class was one floor up and I saw that and I thought this shit had to be some shitty prank then he started running up the stairs and the dread of this active threat coming closer started hitting. My class went from laughing and shit to being very afraid. Anyway he went to the opposite side of the school and started doing shit there. I think his stabbings were targeted cuz he ignored some people to get to his target. Yeah overall scary and crazy. Like after all of that when the school let parents pick up their kids I was just there watching kids cry right next to me and hearing police sirens and shit it was all so surreal.

Some stuff about the killer:
He had history of mental illness and it's obvious something was up with him. He'd stand still and do literally nothing for like 30 whole ass minutes. I tried talking to him before but he wouldn't say much back to me. I would talk to him sometimes earlier in the year and I'd say nice things to him so he feels less alone. I guess it wasn't enough.

Sometimes I really hate some people from my own race and social media in general

I might get downvoted and banned for this but just gonna let it out.... Context, I'm type C here and today we all know about the shocking incident at a secondary school. Was scrolling through my FB feed and saw some updates from Sin Chew Daily. Some of the comments are just... I don't know what to say. Does some people really only have race, politics and religion lurking in their brain all the time?

I saw many trying to turn this whole tragedy into a racial thing by saying the preparator is M and I even before details are available. Some saying this is why they prefer Chinese ed aka independent school, private school etc etc because this wouldn't happen if majority students are C. Alas when the prepatrator and victim are revealed to be both C, they are quick to shift their narrative by saying of course they mention the race because they're not M (some referring to the rape case few days ago). I don't disagree to this, sometimes are media are to be blamed but WTH a tragedy had happened and all these people have in their mind is race and politics (blaming Madani and DAP for this wth...)
