Anxiety is a common feeling we as aspirants have felt some time or the other. Not all of us might have felt it with the same intensity, nor all of us experience it in other areas of our lives.

Nonetheless, it would benefit to be aware of it. For the next few days we will try to learn about what anxiety is and how to manage it.

Are you unknowingly doing these things? They might be out of anxiety. Anxious feelings hold us back at the same time make us over do certain things.

Next time you catch yourself doing things out of anxiety, you can train yourself to stay out of it. Mere awareness of your patterns also helps in controlling unwanted actions.

While counselling aspirants, I am seeing many of you have been high achievers. You have been a topper, excellent in academics throughout your life. Some of you can be considered as high functioning individuals.

High functioning individuals often feel anxious as they have a constant feeling of urgency, they feel time is running out.

You may relate a lot with this poster. Acknowledge these feelings in you and help your self to overcome some of these. Stay tuned, I will be sharing some strategies too.
