Congratulations to Damirbek, Vice President of the SATashkent Student Union, for winning a $90,000 scholarship to study at one of the top high schools in Central Asia!
Alhamdulillah. Sometimes, life really does change in just 30 days.
Looking back, I wish I had started studying for the SAT earlier. Preparing for it didn’t just improve my test scores — it opened the gate to countless opportunities and introduced me to the world of admissions. One of the most pivotal steps I took was joining Mr. Husan's 1500+ SAT course. Our group was called “Silliman” (not "Silly man"!), and it quickly became more than just a class — it became a community that pushed each other to grow.
What made this experience truly impactful was the environment. Mr. Husan created a space that was both friendly and focused — encouraging when needed, but strict when it mattered. It’s in that kind of environment that learning transforms into something meaningful and lasting. Under his guidance, we didn’t just study the SAT; we gained insight into admissions strategies, discovered programs to build our portfolios, and learned how to present ourselves as well-rounded candidates.
The biggest turning point came when I applied to Tashkent International School (TIS), following his advice and mentorship. Alhamdulillah, I was awarded a scholarship worth over $90,000 for three academic years. TIS follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum — one of the most rigorous in the world — and I’m ready for the challenge.
This fall, I will officially move to TIS, InshaAllah. It wasn’t an easy decision to change schools, but I believe in experiencing life fully. Growth comes from stepping into the unknown, from challenging yourself, and from seizing the opportunities that come your way.
I’m currently serving as the Education and Welfare Executive, and this role has already given me a deep sense of purpose and service. But this next chapter at TIS is a new journey — and I’m ready to face it head-on.
To Mr. Husan, and to everyone who supported me along the way — thank you. This achievement isn't just mine alone. I hope my story serves as a reminder that with the right guidance, belief, and a strong environment, transformation is always possible.
Let’s crash the IB curriculum together. InshaAllah.

In just two months, through our online classes, Umidjon achieved a score of 1530 on the SAT, with 750 in English and 780 in Math. He studied within our New York University in Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) community.
🗓Umid reflects,
"Going into the SAT, I felt somewhat confident—I had an IELTS reading score of 8.0 and a solid background in mathematics. But I quickly learned that the SAT was a different kind of challenge. It tested not just knowledge, but timing, strategy, and endurance.
What surprised me most was how much of the test felt like a mental game. I remember sitting through my first full-length practice test and realizing that focus was just as important as skill. By the last section, my mind was drifting, and even simple questions felt difficult. That was a wake-up call—I couldn’t rely on ability alone; I had to train with purpose.
One of the biggest turning points in my journey was the support I received from my English teacher, Nigina. She brought energy and clarity to every lesson, breaking down dense reading passages and grammar rules in a way that truly made sense. More importantly, she believed in me even when I hit plateaus. Her encouragement gave me the confidence to push through moments of doubt.
Although there were setbacks along the way—scores that didn’t reflect the effort I put in, or days when studying felt endless—I’m proud of the discipline I built. This journey taught me that growth doesn’t always look like constant improvement. Sometimes it looks like showing up, trying again, and trusting the process.
In the end, my SAT journey wasn’t just about a number. It was about proving to myself that I could take on a challenge, stay committed, and grow from it."
🙌We want to thank Umidjon’s teachers and parents! We believe that, just as his SAT experience was a success, his future plans will also be realized thoroughly.

🙌Abduvali's 1-Month Journey from 1230 to 1490 (260+)
On March 27th, when Abduvali walked through the doors of SATashkent, he came with an IELTS 7 (R7), solid math experience, and worries about his May exam performance after several past failures.
Initially, he wanted to join our 750+ English group, but his scores did not meet the program’s requirements.
Instead, Abduvali joined the 1500+ SAT program at the British Columbia Community (for English classes only), giving him one month (April) to prepare for his test.
What happened next? Let’s hear from the source of the story:
Abduvali says,
What a story! Abduvali, thank you for the effort you put into becoming who you wanted to be. We thank everyone who supported you in becoming who you are today—yourself, your parents, teachers, friends, and, of course, Donobek.
🚀You will never walk alone!

Instead, Abduvali joined the 1500+ SAT program at the British Columbia Community (for English classes only), giving him one month (April) to prepare for his test.
What happened next? Let’s hear from the source of the story:
Abduvali says,
“I remember the first time I took the SAT test; I scored only 1220, which was much lower than my expectations. I had a strong background in math and an IELTS reading score of 7. I thought I could’ve scored at least 1300. So, I decided to self-study and seek help from my school teachers. I registered for the March exam and was satisfied with my performance. Two weeks later, seeing my results, I realized there were flaws in my preparation to achieve my desired SAT score. I got 1230: 550 in EBRW and 680 in Math.
After that disappointment, I felt miserable, thinking I wasn’t good enough for the test. But my father approached me, offering his full support and belief in me, which was key to my later success. I looked up the next SAT test date and found that May 3rd was the next exam day. It was late March, and I decided to focus entirely on EBRW, as I felt there was more to improve there than in math. I researched the best SAT centers and chose SATashkent. That’s how my one-month SAT journey began at SATashkent.
First, I booked a demo lesson for the 700+ group. After learning my SAT score was lower than the required score for that group, I still believed in my potential. My mentor, Mr. Donobek, showed me the trust and support I desperately needed at that time. Fortunately, all my group members were diligent students. They were the reason I kept pushing myself and became obsessed with the process. After completing one month of preparation, one of my group mates said that, for the first time, he enjoyed the process more than the result—and believe me, I think that’s what we all felt. Still, I wasn’t content with myself. I was consistently getting 50, or at least 48, correct answers in each English test, but I didn’t feel like I was improving.
Finally, May 3rd arrived. I went to the test center, did my best, and felt partial relief afterward. After waiting two weeks, I got my results and was astonished: a 1490 score. That made me so happy I can’t explain it. Achieving a 260-point score increase in just one month seemed unattainable, yet I did it.
Does that make me ingenious? Of course not. I already had the knowledge to achieve that score. The problem was my approach and how I viewed the test. The reason I didn’t feel satisfied, even while preparing to achieve that 1490 score, was simple. It’s impossible to significantly increase SAT knowledge, like grammar or vocabulary, in just one month.
Synopsis:
Even though I had enough knowledge to score 1400+, my approach and understanding of the test weren’t sufficient. Thanks to my mentor and SATashkent for not letting me walk alone 😁. Cheers!”
What a story! Abduvali, thank you for the effort you put into becoming who you wanted to be. We thank everyone who supported you in becoming who you are today—yourself, your parents, teachers, friends, and, of course, Donobek.
🚀You will never walk alone!
