'There was one feature with which Dr Goebbels even in death drew the attention of the Soviet doctors to himself. His fists were raised as if he were seeking an argument. Who knows, perhaps for Dr Joseph Goebbels the battle of words was starting anew somewhere.'

Fange Disputationen. Abends spreche ich. Vor Bourgeois. Etwa 2000. Man rast vor Beifall. Bis spät in die Nacht hinein geklönt. Dann weiter. Nach Hamburg. Durch diese Riesenstadt. An den Hafen. Draußen in Nebel und Qualm liegen Schiffe. Man ahnt Meer und Amerika. Auf der anderen Seiten Riesenwerften. Ein Heulen und Singen in den Lüften. In Schleswig hinein. Itzehoe. Herr Schneider erwartet mich. Zwei friesische Heilandssucher. Ich habe viel gelernt. Klagges schreibt ein Buch über Christus.'
'On the train. In frantic haste to Osnabrück. Dead tired. Engaging in debates. Speaking in the evening. Before the bourgeois. About 2000 of them. They roared with applause. We chatted late into the night. Then onwards. To Hamburg. Through this giant city. To the harbour. Ships lying outside in fog and smoke. One senses the sea and America. On the other side, giant shipyards. A howling and singing in the air. Into Schleswig. Itzehoe. Mr. Schneider is expecting me. I speak before 200 people. How primitive, I almost want to say, how foolish. Evening with party comrades. Debated with Mr. Schneider and Klagges for a long time. Two Frisian seekers of salvation. I have learned a lot. Klagges is writing a book about Christ.'

On this day, one of the greatest men to ever live was born! Enjoy this quote from the Reichsminister to celebrate Hitler's birthday:
'The world may revile and denigrate him today and persecute him with its base hatred, but it will one day have to revise this position or bitterly regret it. He is the core of the resistance against the decline of the world! He should remain what he is and always was: Our Hitler !'
- Dr Joseph Goebbels, radio speech on April 19, 1945, the eve of Hitler's birthday.

Hans Westmar (1933) is an excellent film depicting the life of Horst Wessel, his battles on the street against the communists of Berlin, and his eventual death and martyrdom, becoming an eternal symbol of the unrelenting struggle for the National Socialist movement.
If you're interested in Dr Goebbels, I'd highly recommend watching this film. The scenes align chronologically with the extracts from Goebbels' diary, some of which have been posted on the channel before - such as the following:
