😱🇺🇸🇮🇷 US LAUNCHES 'HISTORIC' STRIKE ON IRAN'S NUCLEAR SITES

Tensions escalate in the Iran-Israel conflict as the US carries out a major strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:👇

◾️ The Trump administration has bombed three key nuclear sites in Iran, calling the attack a ‘HISTORIC MOMENT’ for the US.

◾️ B-2 bombers carrying powerful 30,000-pound 'bunker-buster' bombs were used, designed to penetrate 18 meters of concrete or 61 meters of earth to destroy the fortified sites.

◾️ All three targeted sites, Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, had already been evacuated, with their enriched uranium stockpiles relocated, Iranian media reported.

◾️ Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked Trump for taking action against Iran, declaring that this move will be remembered as a decisive step to curb the world’s most dangerous regime.

◾️ Iran swiftly condemned the attack, accusing the International Atomic Energy Agency of turning a blind eye and stressing that their nuclear program will continue unabated.

◾️ No signs of nuclear contamination have been detected in the wake of the strikes, according to Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization.

◾️ The Houthi rebel leader, Huzam al-Asad, condemned the strikes, threatening to escalate attacks on US ships in the Red Sea as a retaliation.

🇮🇳🇨🇳 INDIA & CHINA: TALKING THROUGH TENSION

India and China share a long, contested border shaped by history, geography, and deep mistrust. Yet despite repeated standoffs, both sides keep talking and making progress in restoring peace.

Here's a quick look at how the relationship has evolved:

◾️ 1962: China invaded Aksai Chin and NEFA (now Arunachal Pradesh). India lost territory. A unilateral Chinese ceasefire followed, but the border dispute remains.

◾️ 1975: Four Indian soldiers were killed in an ambush in Arunachal. It was the last time bullets were fired — and the start of the “no-guns” protocol.

◾️ 1987: India responded to Chinese posts in Sumdorong Chu with Operation Falcon. Troops were airlifted, war seemed close — but the standoff ended peacefully.

◾️ 2013–14: During Xi’s visit, Chinese troops entered Depsang and Chumar. Military talks defused the situation without violence.

◾️ 2017: At Doklam, India blocked China’s road-building near Bhutan. After 73 tense days, both sides stepped back following talks.

◾️ 2020: Galwan Valley saw brutal hand-to-hand fighting. 20 Indian and 4 Chinese soldiers died — the first border deaths since 1975.

◾️ Post-Galwan: Talks continued. 20+ Corps Commander meetings led to partial disengagement at key points along the LAC.

Despite the skirmishes, both sides have long worked to maintain backchannels, creating frameworks for regular dialogue, hotlines, and local-level flag meetings.

In 2024, during the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russian President Vladimir Putin quietly hosted the first face-to-face meeting between PM Modi and President Xi since 2019.

🤡🇮🇳🇵🇰 Pak claims 'India was involved' in Waziristan suicide attack

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has firmly rejected Pakistan’s accusations of involvement in the suicide attack in Waziristan.

✍️ “We reject this statement with the contempt it deserves,” the ministry said in response.

On Saturday, at least 13 soldiers were killed and 29 others, including 19 civilians, injured in a terror attack in North Waziristan district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province

🤢 Labeling others as sponsors of terrorism does not hide the reality of being a state that harbours and supports terrorists.

Whenever there is a power vacuum in West Asia or the Middle East, ambitious regional powers try to fill it at the expense of their rivals, fuelling civil wars and proxy wars like the ones in Syria, Yemen and Libya. Competitive zero-sum behaviour of the main regional players is a fundamental problem, says Dr. Manjari Singh of the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS). Why are Israel and lran such sworn enemies? Dr. Manjari Singh, a West Asia/Middle East scholar, explains that these two countries used to be close friends before Iran’s ideological shift following the 1979 Islamic revolution. Also, the informal alliance between Israel and many Arab states against an ambitious civilisational power like Iran has fuelled the fierce geopolitical competition between Jerusalem and Tehran.
