Yesterday, I had a conversation with an aspirant who has been preparing for more than two years. She had read countless topper copies, followed multiple strategy videos, and sincerely attempted answer writing. Yet, after three months of regular practice, she still felt dissatisfied with her answers. She couldn’t recall relevant points during writing, and what she thought in her mind never fully translated onto the page. πŸ˜“

Case Study: GSDMA – Post-Bhuj Earthquake Recovery, Gujarat

The Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) was established as a dedicated institutional response after the devastating Bhuj earthquake in 2001. It aimed to rebuild infrastructure, promote earthquake-resilient construction, and integrate disaster preparedness into state planning.

Through community participation, revised building codes, and capacity-building programs, GSDMA led one of India’s most successful post-disaster recovery efforts. The initiative transformed Gujarat into a disaster-resilient state and became a model for other states and national disaster management reforms.

I’ve been receiving many enquiries about the Mains Answer Writing Programme. However, I’m unable to accommodate everyone in the Personal Mains Evaluation Programme, as I personally evaluate each and every copy.

That said, you can consider joining the Live Answer Writing Classes, where I regularly discuss answer writing techniques and effective approaches. A few students can still join today’s session at 9 PM.

If you are beginning essay writing, you can start with these topics first. Once comfortable, gradually shift to philosophical essays.
