Case Study: GSDMA β Post-Bhuj Earthquake Recovery, Gujarat
The Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) was established as a dedicated institutional response after the devastating Bhuj earthquake in 2001. It aimed to rebuild infrastructure, promote earthquake-resilient construction, and integrate disaster preparedness into state planning.
Through community participation, revised building codes, and capacity-building programs, GSDMA led one of Indiaβs most successful post-disaster recovery efforts. The initiative transformed Gujarat into a disaster-resilient state and became a model for other states and national disaster management reforms.

Iβve been receiving many enquiries about the Mains Answer Writing Programme. However, Iβm unable to accommodate everyone in the Personal Mains Evaluation Programme, as I personally evaluate each and every copy.
That said, you can consider joining the Live Answer Writing Classes, where I regularly discuss answer writing techniques and effective approaches. A few students can still join todayβs session at 9 PM.
