After a while, he moved his gaze up to the sky instead. Contrasting the glitter and glimmer of the city, the sky here was muddy and clouded. The light pollution had made it so that the stars weren't visible; there was only gradients of cloudy shadows that hid even the moon's light. And for once he thought:
