✞ ✞ ✝እንኩዋን ለሰማዕቱ #ቅዱስ_ሚናስ ዓመታዊ
የቅዳሴ ቤት በዓል በሰላም አደረሳችሁ ✞ ✞✝

+"+✝ #ቅዱስ_ሚናስ ምዕመን ሰማዕት +"+✝

=>ቅዱስ ሚናስ ( #ማር_ሚና ) በምድረ ግብጽ ተወዳጅ
ከሆኑ ሰማዕታት ዋነኛው ነው:: ልክ በሃገራችን
#ቅዱስ_ጊዮርጊስ ልዩ ቦታ እንዳለው ሁሉ ግብፃውያን
ማር ሚናስን ጠርተው አይጠግቡትም::

+ምክንያቱም ከታላላቅ ሰማዕታት አንዱ በመሆኑና ዛሬም
ድረስ ለጆሮና ለዐይን ድንቅ የሆኑ ተአምራትን ስለሚሠራ
ነው:: በተለይ ለታመመ: ለደከመና ለተጨነቀ ፈጥኖ
ደራሽ: ባለ በጐ መድኃኒት ፈዋሽና አማላጅ ነው::

+ግብጽ ውስጥ ቅዱሱን የማያውቅ ሰው ካገኛችሁ እርሱ
ኦርርቶዶክሳዊ አይደለም ማለት ነው ሲባልም ሰምተናል::
በነገራችን ላይ ለቅዱሳን ተገቢውን ክብር በመስጠት:
ታሪካቸውን በመጻፍ: በማጥናት: በመጽሔት: በፊልምና
በመሳሰሉት ለሕዝብ በማስተዋወቅ ግብጻውያኑ ከእኛ ብዙ
ርቀት ሒደዋል:: ዛሬ እንኩዋ የምንጠቀምበትን ስንክሳር
80 ከመቶ እጁን ያዘጋጁት እነርሱ ናቸው::

+አባቶቻችንና እናቶቻችን #ኢትዮዽያውያን_ቅዱሳን ግን
አብዛኞቹ ተረስተው ቀርተዋል:: መጽሐፈ ገድላቸውንም
ብል በልቶታል:: ዛሬም የቤት ሥራው የእኛ ብቻ ነው::

+ወደ ቀደመ ነገራችን እንመለስና ቅዱስ ሚናስ (ትርጉሙ
ታማኝና ቡሩክ ማለት ነው):-
¤በ3ኛው መቶ ክ/ዘመን የነበረ የደጋግ ክርስቲያኖች ልጅ
¤በልጅነቱ የቅድስና ሕይወትን ያጣጣመ
¤በዘመኑ ሰው እጅግ ተወዳጅ የነበረ
¤ሃብትን: ክብርን: ሥልጣንን ንቆ በጾምና በጸሎት የተወሰነ
¤በመጨረሻም በክርስቶስ ስላመነ አላውያን የገደሉት
ሰማዕት ነው::

+እርሱ ሰማዕት ከሆነ ከበርካታ ዘመናት በሁዋላ
ምዕመናን ክቡር አካሉን ፈልገው ያጡታል::

+የሚገለጥበት ጊዜ ሲደርስ ግን እርሱ የተቀበረበት
ምድረ በዳ የበጐችና የእረኞች መዋያ ነበርና ተአምራትን
አደረገ:: አንድ እረኛ በጐቹ ድውያን ሆኑበት:: በዚያ ሰሞን
ከቅዱሱ መቃብር ላይ ጸበል ፈልቆ ነበርና እረኛው ተርታ
ውሃ ነው ብሎ በጎቹን ሲያጠጣቸው አንዱ ድውይ በግ
ወደ ጸበሉ በመዘፈቁ ዳነ::

+በዚህ የተገረመው እረኛ ሁሉንም የታመሙ በጐቹን
አምጥቶ ነከራቸው:: እነርሱም ተፈወሱ:: ይህ ዜና
በምድረ ግብፅ ሲሰማ ድውያን ሁሉ እየመጡ ይፈወሱ
ገቡ:: ግን እነሱም ሆነ እረኛው ምክንያቱን ማወቅ
አልቻሉም::

+ነገሩ በሮም ንጉሥ ዘንድ ሲሰማ ሴት ልጁን ከሠራዊቱ
ጋር ላካት:: ምክንያቱም እርሷ ከብዙ ዘመን ጀምራ
መጻጉዕ ነበረችና ፈውስን አጥታ ነበር:: መጥታ
ተጠመቀች: ፈጥናም ተፈወሰች:: እርሷ ግን እንደ ሌሎች
ያዳናትን ማንነት ሳታውቅ መሔድ አልፈለገችምና ሱባዔ ገባች::

+#ቅዱስ_ሚናስ በሌሊት ራዕይ መጥቶ ሥጋው እንዳለ
ነገራት:: እርሷም መሬቱን አስቆፍራ የቅዱሱን አካል
በክብር አስወጣች:: ከዚያም በንጉሡ ትዕዛዝ ምድረ
በዳው ከተማ እንዲሆን ተቀየረ:: ስሙም " #መርዩጥ "
ተባለ:: ጸበሉ የነበረበት ቦታም ላይ የማር ሚናስ

ተከብሯል::

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Consecration of the Church of Saint Menas (Mina) the Martyr✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞Saint Menas/Mina the Martyr – One of the Laity✞✞✞
=>St. Menas/Mina takes precedence amongst the most loved martyrs in the land of Egypt.  As St. George has a special place in our country (Ethiopia), Egyptians cannot have enough of invoking the name of the Saint, Mar Mina. 

✞And that is because he is one of the great martyrs and until this day performs miracles which are astounding to the ears and the eyes. Particularly, for the person who is sick, weary and anxious, he is a haste aid, an intercessor that heals, and one with a decent cure. 

✞We have heard it said that if you find in Egypt a person who has not heard of the Saint then that individual is not Orthodox. By the way, Egyptians have went much further than us in giving proper honor to the saints, in writing and studying their stories, and in introducing them to their people through magazines, films, and the like.  Even 80% of the Synaxarium which we use today was prepared by them.

✞However, most of our Ethiopian fathers and mothers have been forgotten. And their hagiographies are being eaten by moth. It is still solely our homework.
   
✞Coming back to what we have started, St. Mina (whose name means “trusted” and “blessed”) was a martyr
*who lived in the 3rd century that was a son of kind Christians
*who enjoyed the holy life in his childhood
*who was loved by the people of his time
*who lived in prayer and fasting by shunning wealth, honor and authority
*and who was, in the end, killed by unbelieving rulers for having faith in Christ.

✞And years after he was martyred, the faithful searched and they were not able to locate his relics.

✞But when the time came for it to be revealed, as the place where he was buried had become a desolate one where shepherds and their flock spent their days, he performed a miracle [there]. The sheep of one the shepherds became sick. And because at the time a healing spring had sprang from the Saint’s resting place, the shepherd, thinking it was just another stream, guided his flock to drink. However, one entered the spring wholly and was healed.

✞The shepherd who was amazed at this, then immersed the rest and they all were cured. And when the news was heard all over Egypt, the sick started to congregate, and they were restored. Then again, they or the shepherd did not know the reason for the healings.

✞And when the news was heard by the Roman Emperor, he sent his daughter who was sick for many years and had no cure, with his soldiers. Afterwards, she bathed with the holy water and was immediately healed. But unlike others, she did not want to leave without knowing about who/what had healed her. Thus, she started fasting, and praying.

✞And St. Mina appeared to her in a revelation during the night and told her that his body was located there. And then, she had the place dug and took out the Saint’s relics with honor. And by the decree of the Emperor the desert was changed to a city and it was called Maryut. And on this day, where the holy healing spring was, a church, in the name of Mar Mina, was built and consecrated.

🌿ብፁዕ አባ አቡነ ተክለ ሃይማኖት ዘኤለ ገዳማተ እምኀበ እግዚኡ ይነሣእ እሴተ ቦአ ሀገረ ደብረ ሊባኖስ በፍሥሐ ወበሰላም።

⚜ሰአል ለነ ጊዮርጊስ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወጸሊ በእንቲአነ ሐረድዎ ወገመድዎ ወዘረዉ ሥጋሁ ከመ ሐመድ ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ሰብዓ ነገሥት ረገጸ ምድረ አንሥአ ሙታነ አባ ጊዮርጊስ በሰላም ዐደወ መንግሥተ ክብር ወረሰ።

በርሃ ስለሚኖሩ ባሕታውያን ሲጨዋወቱ:
ሲያደንቁዋቸውም ሰማ::
እርሱ በዛ ወቅት ባሕታውያን በበርሃ መኖራቸውን
አያውቅም ነበርና ሒዶ መምሕሩን አባ_ኤስድሮስን ጠየቃቸው:: እርሳቸውም "አዎ ልጄ! ከዚሕ በጣም ርቅው:
ንጽሕናቸውን ጠብቀው: ከሰውና ከኃጢአት ተይለው
የሚኖሩ
ገዳማውያን አሉ" አሉት::

+ቅዱስ አቡናፍር "በዚሕ ካሉት መነኮሳትና በበርሃ ካሉት
ማን ይበልጣል?" ቢላቸው "እነርሱ በጣም ይበልጣሉ::
ዓለም
እንኩዋ ከነ ክብሯ የእግራቸውን ሰኮና አታህልም" አሉት::
ይሕንን የሰማው ቅዱስ አባ አቡናፍር ጊዜ አላጠፋም::

+ከመምሕሩ ቡራኬ ተቀብሎ ወደ በርሃ ሔደ:: ለብዙ
ቀናት ከተጉዋዘ በኋላ አንድ ባሕታዊ አግኝቶ አብሯቸው
ተቀመጠ::
ከእርሳቸው ዘንድም ሥርዓተ ባሕታውያንን ተምሮ እንደገና
ወደ ዋናው በርሃ ጉዞውን ቀጠለ::

+ከብዙ ቀናት መንገድ በኋላም አንድ ሠፊ ሜዳ ላይ
ደረሰ:: አካባቢው የውሃ ጠብታ የማይገኝበት: ይቅርና
መጠለያ ዛፍ
የሣር ዘር እንኩዋ የሌለበት ወይም በልሳነ አበው "ዋዕየ
ፀሐይ የጸናበት: ልምላሜ ሣዕር የሌለበት: ነቅዐ ማይ
የማይገኝበት" ቦታ ነበር:: በዚህ ቦታ ይቅርና የሰው ልጅ
አራዊትም አይኖሩበትም::

+ለአባ አቡናፍር ግን ተመራጭ ቦታ ነበር:: ቅዱሳኑን ይሕ
አያሳስባቸውም:: ምክንያቱም ለእነርሱ ምግባቸውም:
ልብሳቸውም
ፍቅረ_ክርስቶስ ነውና:: አባ አቡናፍር ወደ ፈጣሪ ጸለዩ:: በእግዚአብሔር
ቸርነት ከጎናቸው አንዲት ዘንባባ (በቀልት) በቀለች::
ከእግራቸው ሥርም ጽሩይ ማይ (ንጹሕ ምንጭ) ፈለቀች::

+ጻድቁ ተጋድሏቸውን ቀጠሉ:: ዓመታት አለፉ::
ልብሳቸውን ፀሐይና ብርድ ጨርሶት ቅጠል ለበሱ:: በዚያ
ቦታም የሰው
ዘርን ሳያዩ ለ60 ዓመታት በተጋድሎ ኖሩ:: የሚያርፉበት
ጊዜ ሲደርስ እግዚአብሔር አባ_በፍኑትዮስን (የባሕታውያንን ዜና የጻፈ አባት ነው) ላከላቸው::

+ቃለ እግዚአብሔርን እየተጨዋወቱ ሳለ የአባ አቡናፍር
አካሉ ተለወጠ:: እንደ እሳትም ነደደ:: አባ በፍኑትዮስም
ደነገጠ:: ታላቁ ገዳማዊ ግን እጆቻቸውን ዘርግተው ጸለዩ:
ሰገዱና አማተቡ:: ነፍሳቸውም ከሥጋቸው በፍቅር
ተለየች::
ቅዱሳን መላዕክትም በዝማሬና በማኅሌት አሳረጉዋት::
የሚገርመው ደግሞ አባ በፍኑትዮስ ይሕን ሲያይ ቆይቶ
ዘወር ቢል ዛፏ
ወድቃለች: ቅርንጯም ደርቃለች::

=>ዳግመኛ ይህች ዕለት የቅዱሳን አበው ባሕታውያን
መታሠቢያ ናት::

+ከሰው (ከዓለም) ርቀው: ንጽሕ ጠብቀው: ዕጸበ
ገዳሙን: ግርማ አራዊቱን: ጸብዐ አጋንንትን ታግሠው
የኖሩ: ስማቸውን
የምናውቀውንም ሆነ የማናውቃቸውን

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Departure of Abba Nofer (Onuphrius/Abunafer) and the Feast of all the Anchorites✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞Saint Abba Nofer (Onuphrius/Abunafer) the Ascetic✞✞✞
=>The Saint was born and raised in 5th century Egypt.  The time was when monasticism was observed and the anchorite fathers shone like the stars of the sky. The Great Abba Nofer, born of Christian parents and raised properly, became an ascetic while he was just a youth after learning the Scriptures.

✞After he learned the rites of monasticism from Abba Isidore the Great, he lived helping his monastery and teacher for many years in fasting and prayer. And the monks honored him for his humility and obedience.

✞One day, Abba Nofer heard elder monks admiring and discussing about the hermits that lived in the desert. Because he did not know by then about the anchorites who lived in the wilderness, he went to his teacher, Abba Isidore, and asked. And the elder replied, “Yes my son, there are ascetics that live far away from here, reserved in purity and separated from man and sin.”

✞St. Abba Nofer then inquired with, “Who is greater, the monks here or the hermits in the desert?” And the elder answered, “They are much greater. The world with all its glory does not amount to the soles of their feet.” And St. Abba Nofer, hearing this, did not waste any time.

✞He received blessing from his teacher and went to the desert. After he walked for days, he found one anchorite and dwelt with him. And after learning the ways of the hermits from the father, he continued his journey to the main desert.

✞And after several days of walking, he reached at a wide expanse of a desert plain. The place was where not even a single drop of water was available and where not even grass let alone trees were found. It was a place which the fathers would call,
“Where the scorching heat was strong,
No vegetation existed,
And a spring of water would not be found.”
In this place, animals did not reside much less people.
 
✞However, it was the place of choice for Abba Nofer. And that was because such conditions do not worry the saints as the love of Christ is their food and clothing. Abba Nofer thereafter prayed to the Creator and by the goodness of God a palm tree grew, and from underneath his feet pure water came forth.  

✞And so the Saint continued his strife and years passed by. The sun and the cold exhausted his cloth, and he wore leaves. And he lived in that place without seeing anyone for 60 years in spiritual struggles. And when the time of his departure came near, God sent Abba Paphnutius the Ascetic (a father who wrote the accounts of the hermits) to him.

✞And while they discussed the Word of God, suddenly the body of Abba Nofer changed and it burned like a flaming fire. And Abba Paphnutius was stunned.  Nonetheless, the Great Anchorite raised his hands, prayed, prostrated, and made the sign of the cross. And his soul departed from his body with love. ✞ So that we honor them, the Church has put in place a rite and a feast day for the anchorites, whether we know their names or not, who have lived far from society, keeping their purity, enduring the struggles of the desert, the might of the beasts, and the wiles of demons.

*kept their purity,
*and endured for the love of Christ,
-the struggles of the desert,

-the cold of the evening,

🌿ብፁዕ አባ አቡነ ተክለ ሃይማኖት ዘኤለ ገዳማተ እምኀበ እግዚኡ ይነሣእ እሴተ ቦአ ሀገረ ደብረ ሊባኖስ በፍሥሐ ወበሰላም።

⚜ሰአል ለነ ጊዮርጊስ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወጸሊ በእንቲአነ ሐረድዎ ወገመድዎ ወዘረዉ ሥጋሁ ከመ ሐመድ ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ሰብዓ ነገሥት ረገጸ ምድረ አንሥአ ሙታነ አባ ጊዮርጊስ በሰላም ዐደወ መንግሥተ ክብር ወረሰ።
