We have waited MONTHS! And the Canadian government is finally releasing their plan for Hong Kongers and Canadians in Hong Kong. This is not the full plan, as we already know that asylum measures will not be publicly released.

> Expedited processes all around & waiving fees // 加快處理某些移民流程同免除費用
> Pathways to PR to be released in 2021 // 申請成為加拿大永久公民嘅流程將會係2021年公佈
> Canadians may travel back to Canada with their non-Canadian family members (still have to quarantine 14 days) // 加拿大公民可與非加拿大公民嘅家庭成員一齊返加拿大（但仍需隔離14日）
> Up to 3 yrs work permit for those who has college/university degree whether from HK or Canada // 為持有香港同加拿大大專院校學位嘅人提供最多為期3年嘅工作簽證

There were MANY Canadian organizations and individuals who helped pressed for this resettlement plan for Hong Kongers. Not to mention that the BIGGEST credit goes to Hong Kongers and everyone on the frontlines of this movement. ACHK's work is only one part of the whole picture. Today, the Conservative Party proposed a motion to call on Canada to take action against China.
今日 ，聯邦保守黨要求總理社魯多及自由黨政府盡快對中國採取行動。

That, given that (i) the People’s Republic of China, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, is threatening Canada’s national interest and our values, including Canadians of Chinese origin within Canada’s borders, (ii) it is essential that Canada have a strong and principled foreign policy backed by action in concert with its allies, the House call upon the government to: (a) make a decision on Huawei’s involvement in Canada’s 5G network within 30 days of the adoption of this motion; and (b) develop a robust plan, as Australia has done, to combat China’s growing foreign operations here in Canada and its increasing intimidation of Canadians living in Canada, and table it within 30 days of the adoption of this motion.

The Canada-China Special Committee (CACN) was created in 2019 to study Canada and China’s relationship. Unlike the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration or Foreign Affairs, CACN is a temporary committee and has a narrow mandate.

縱使政權故意淡化香港180年開埠歷史及這個漁港的國際背景，很慶幸今年比往年有更多同路人關注這段重要歷史。

相比之下，作為獨立國家的新加坡在2019年大肆慶祝獅城開埠200週年。
