HI Everyone, Last weekend, we had updated the zone colours for the districts on the main table and today, our cool devs have rolled out the zone mapping for all districts on the map too!
However, the zone mappings are based on the list MOHFW published around a week ago. The zones might have changed with new case additions. WE NEED YOUR HELP :
1. Please check the main table for the current mapping of zones for your state.
2. If there is a change required, please Contact Us using this form : https://forms.gle/nWqXSNJ5kKp3rF6G6 .
3. Please don't forget to mention a source notifying the change in zones!
Looking forward to your help so that we can represent the most recent zonal classifications made by each state!!

Classification of district zones on the website (as red, orange, and green) may not be up to date as we rely on MOFHW's periodic updates and state bulletins for zonal classifications.
As always, please confirm with your local administration. Thank you!

Ops!
This Sunday, could you help us making our site multilingual. We believe this will help in expanding the reach of all the information that we provide.
To successfully do this localization initiative, we need your help in verifying the translations made by Google on the text that is present in the website.
What you need to do:
1. Go the sheet provided below to see all the strings present in the website.
2. Have a look at the corresponding translation made by Google and correct it if required.
3. Mark the cell green if you feel confident that the translation is correct. Mark it yellow if somebody needs to have a look at it again.
4. That’s it 🙂
Note :
1. Try to make the translations more “contextual”, rather than verbatim translation. I guess by now you will know where each of these strings are present in the website. Use your good judgement.
2. Please don’t do mass deletions and garbage input. (Hope I didn’t give anybody any ideas. 👀)
Once each language achieves 80-90% + translations, we can start deploying it in the website.
Sheet : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12iFd_SP6BHK5TMKindlH4uXGPTF7tTkUzY_OBc_EQpc/edit#gid=0
Just a tip : You can use https://www.google.com/inputtools/try/ to type the text in English and get corresponding vernacular if you’re finding any difficulty.

Great work on the localization activity!
This is the current progress. A bit more push and we will be able to deploy these languages on the website, hopefully by tonight.
Please do have a look at the sheet and make the final corrections.

Hi Ops!
Localization : Phase II
Once again, amazing support for the localization activity! We could achive 98% + translation in most of the languages. 🙂
However, when you look at the deployment below, you will notice that translations are sometimes missing the context. So, we have kept only the 50 odd strings that are providing meaning to the website in a single sheet. Could you help us in making the translations perfect such that it will have better, contenxual meaning where these are present in the website?
Thanks a lot for your help. Also, it would be great if we have a few leads for each language. Once this initial translations are done, there shouldn’t be any large changes required. Please PM @simulatedmonkey if you’re interested in leading this activity.
Thank you!
Dev team has already made the deployment using these strings. All of you can get an early preview of the same here :

The sheet where you have to make the edits for these selected strings is here :

Site is facing some issues currently. Some users are reporting errors. Working on a fix. Brb. 🙂
Site’s back. All good for now! Do a hard refresh if you're still facing issues.
Update :
We have added a State Unassigned row to the table. These are cases waiting to be assigned to any state, as reported in the MoHFW website (mohfw.gov.in). We will update these numbers in line with what MoHFW reports every morning.

Thanks for your patience.
To those who are in states affected by Cyclone Amphan or have family/friends there - We have added the state helplines for Cyclone Amphan in the website. Head over to the site and search for 'Cyclone Amphan'. Please contact these helplines if you or people you know are in distress due to the cyclone. Stay informed and stay safe!
