††† አባቶቻችን ቅዱሳን ሐዋርያት በመላው ዓለም ዞረው በብዙ ድካም የሠሯት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ለ200 ዓመታት እጅግ የበዙ መከራዋችን አሳልፋለች:: በ265 ዓ/ም የመጣባት መከራ ግን በዓለም ታሪክ እስካሁን አልታየም:: የወቅቱ ኃያላን ነገሥታት (ዲዮቅልጢያኖስና መክስምያኖስ) ዓለምን ለ2 ተካፍለው ክርስቲያኖችን የማጥፋት ዘመቻ ጀመሩ::

በመጀመሪያም በዓለም ያሉ ሁሉም አብያተ ክርስቲያናት እንዲቃጠሉ ካልሆነም እንዲዘጉ : በፈንታቸው ደግሞ አዽሎን: አርዳሚስ የተባሉ ጣዖቶች እንዲተኩ ትዕዛዝ ተሰጠ:: ለ40 ዓመታት ክርስቲያን ስለሆኑ ብቻ ሚሊየኖች ተገደሉ: ታሰሩ: ተሰቃዩ: ተሰደዱ:: መጻሕፍት ተቃጠሉ: አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ሁሉ ወደሙ::

በአባቶቻችንና እናቶቻችን ላይ ልንናገረው ከምንችለው በላይ ጭንቅና መከራ ደረሰ:: ነገር ግን ቅዱሳኑ ያን ሁሉ ችለው ጸኑ:: 47 ሚሊየን የሚያሕሉትን ደግሞ ሰይፍና እሳት በላቸው:: በዛ ዘመን አንድ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ለማግኘት ከአሕጉር አሕጉር መሔድን ይጠይቅ ነበር::

ከዚሕ ሁሉ በኋላ ግን እግዚአብሔር "ግፍ ይበቃል" ሲል በ305 ዓ/ም ታላቁ ቅዱስ ቆስጠንጢኖስ ነገሠ:: መክስምያኖስን በጦርነት ሲማርከው አውሬው ዲዮቅልጢያኖስ ግን አብዶ ሞተ:: ይህ ከተደረገ ከዓመታት በኋላ (በ313 ዓ/ም) ታላቁ ቆስጠንጢኖስ የዓለም መሪዎችን በዚሕች ቀን ጠርቶ አዋጁን በአዋጅ ሻረው:: "ሁሉም አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ይከፈቱ:: በፈንታው ደግሞ ሁሉም ጣዖት ቤቶች ይዘጉ" አለ::

በሺሕ የሚቆጠሩ አብያተ ክርስቲያናትን በወርቅ አስለበጠ:: በዚሕ ምክንያት ይህች ቀን ለቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን "ዕለተ ትፍሥሕት (የደስታ ቀን)" ተብላ ትከበራለች::

††† ቸሩ አምላክ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያንን ከመከራ ይሠውርልን:: ከበረከቷም ያድለን:: ትውልዱ ደካሞች ነንና ከማንችለው ፈተናም ይጠብቀን::

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Opening of the Holy Churches✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞The Opening of the Holy Churches✞✞✞
=>On this day is remembered the day on which all the churches in the world (in the Roman Empire) were opened after being closed for forty years. If asked how that had happened, it was as follows.

✞The Holy Church, which was thought by God before the creation of the world, after She was seen in the realm of the angels,
*the fathers anticipated Her,
*the prophets foretold about Her,
*vigils were held and numerated regarding Her,
*and typologies were made in Her likeness.
 
✞And then when the time came, by our God, Jesus Christ
*She was conceived by His conception
*She was born by His birth
*She grew in wisdom and in favor with Him
*She was baptized by His baptism
*She was preserved by His ministry
*She was sanctified by His Blood
*She was glorified by His Resurrection
*Her heavenliness was confirmed by His ascension
*And then She was given openly to Her children after the Descent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.

✞The Church that our fathers - the Apostles built, by going to all the world with much toil, since their era, passed through grave tribulation for about 200 years. However, the persecution that came upon Her in 265 AD was not seen, even to this day, in world history. The then mighty [Roman] Co-emperors, Diocletian and Maximian, divided up the empire into two (East and West) and started the campaign of eradicating Christians.

✞First, an order was given to burn if not to close all the churches in the empire and to replace them with the idols Apollo and Artemis.  Following that, for 40 years, millions were killed, imprisoned, tortured, and exiled for just being Christians. Spiritual books were burned and churches were demolished as well.

✞And much tribulation and affliction, which we cannot even begin to describe, fell upon our fathers and mothers. But the saints endured all of that and stood-firm. And around 47 million of them were slain or put to fire. In those days, to find even a single church it required travelling from one country/state to another.
  
✞And after all that, when God said, “Enough with the brutality!” in 305 AD Constantine the Great became Emperor. Then, he took captive Maximian in a battle, and Diocletian, the Beast, died a mad man. A few years after that had transpired (in 313 AD), on this day, Constantine the Great gathered the rulers of the provinces, and annulled the edict with an edict (Edict of Milan). He declared, “Let all the churches be opened, and let all the pagan temples be closed.”

✞He also adorned and overlaid thousands of churches with gold. Thence, this day is commemorated as “A Joyous Day” for the Church.

✞✞✞May the Good God keep the Holy Church from tribulation and grant us from Her blessing. And as our generation is frail, may He keep us from trial that we could not bear.

ወቅቱ መልካምም ክፉም ነገሮች ነበሩት:: መልካሙ ነገር በቤተ መንግሥት አካባቢ ይኖሩ የነበሩት ልዑላኑ አብዛኞቹ በፍቅረ ክርስቶስ የታሠሩ ነበሩ:: ከእነዚህ መካካከል "ቅዱስ ፋሲለደስ:

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Martyrdom of the Great Martyr Mar Claudius✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞Mar Claudius the Martyr✞✞✞
=>St. Claudius was born in the 3rd century in Antioch (now in Syria) which was part of the Roman Empire. His father was Ptolemy (Abtelmawos) who was the brother of the Roman Emperor Numerianus (Numerian). Hence, the Saint grew up in a palace.

✞That era had both good and bad aspects to it. The good was that most of the princes loved Christ and amongst them were Saint Basilides, the Saints Victor (Boctor), Theodore, Abadir (Apater), Eusebius, Justus (Yostos), Apoli (Aboli), Stephen and others while the holy women comprised of the Saints Martha, Theoclea, Iraya (Iraja/Herais), Sophia and more.

✞And the bad aspect was that they continually lived in warfare, day and night. And because, at the time, the rulers of Persia and Quz were combative, battles took place daily. Thus, St. Claudius grew up as an attested to warrior and a blessed, pure Christian. And as he had studied the Holy Scriptures from his childhood, his life was sweetened by the Holy Spirit. And he was part of the royal family. However, though food was readily available to the Saint in different varieties, he was not used to consuming anything until nightfall.

✞His prayers were heard,
-His bows touched the ground,
-And with love he lived.
In addition to these, he was preserved in his virginity, and he was mighty.

✞At the time, there was none who was as handsome as St. Claudius from the surroundings as well. But this did not fool him. Though he had everything at his hand, his only choice became believing in Christ.

✞And [one day] when St. Claudius returned from war, he found Emperor Diocletian an apostate and forcing Christians to bow down to idols and killing those who did not.

✞✞✞And despite the fact that the Saint was a great warrior and could have killed the Emperor, he did not. And at that stage, he was offered two choices;
1. To renounce Christ and follow the Emperor or
2. To shed his blood for being a Christian.

✞And as the Saint’s choice was obvious, he was put in chains and exiled to Egypt. There, he argued with the governor, who was angered and pierced the Saint’s side with a long lance. Thus, the Saint, by lowering his head, gave up his soul. Thereafter, Christians went hidden [to where the Saint’s body was], anointed it with perfume, and then shrouded it in hymns. After that, his companion’s mother, St. Sophia, went there, and took his relic to Syria.

✞✞✞On this day on which Mar Claudius the loved, mighty, blessed and good man was martyred, he is commemorated by all the Orthodox.

✞✞✞ May our God grant us the Saint’s shunning of worldly treasures, patience, grace and blessing. Amen.

⚜ሰአል ለነ ጊዮርጊስ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወጸሊ በእንቲአነ ሐረድዎ ወገመድዎ ወዘረዉ ሥጋሁ ከመ ሐመድ ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ሰብዓ ነገሥት ረገጸ ምድረ አንሥአ ሙታነ አባ ጊዮርጊስ በሰላም ዐደወ መንግሥተ ክብር ወረሰ።

🌿ወልደ እግዚአብሔር አምላክነ ወመድኃኒነ ዕቀብ  ሕይወተነ እም ገሀነመ እሳት ወእምኵሉ መንሱት በእንተ ቅዱስ ስምከ ወበእንተ ማርያም እምከ ወበእንተ ቅዱስ መስቀል ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ ወንጌላዊ ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ መጥምቅከ ወበእንተ ኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ወሀባ ሰላመ ለሀገሪትነ ኢትዮጵያ ወለቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን።

⚜ሰላም ለክሙ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት እለ አዕረፍክሙ በዛቲ ዕለት መዋዕያነ ዓለም አንትሙ በብዙኅ ትዕግሥት። ሰአሉ ቅድመ ፈጣሪ በኩሉ ሰዓት እንበለ ንስሐ ኪያነ ኢይንሣእ ሞት።

🌿አንቅሐኒ በጽባሕ ክሥተኒ ዕዝንየ በዘአጸምእ አምላኪየ አምላኪየ እገይሥ ኀቤከ ዘይሰማዕ ግበር ሊተ ምሕረተከ በጽባሕ"

⚜ነቢያት ወሐዋርያት፥ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት፤ ደናግል ወመነኮሳት፥ አዕሩግ ወሕጻናት፤ ገዳማውያን ወሊቃውንት፤ ሰአሉ ለነ ኲልክሙ፥ ቅድመ መንበሩ ለጸባኦት።

††† ✝ቅዱስ ሚካኤል ሊቀ መላእክት †††✝

††† ቅዱስ ሚካኤል በጥንተ ተፈጥሮ በኢዮር: ኃይላት በተባሉት ነገደ መላእክት ተሹሞ ነበር:: ሳጥናኤል በካደ ጊዜ እግዚአብሔር ባወቀ: አንድም በትሕትናውና ደግነቱ በ99ኙ ነገደ መላእክት ላይ ሁሉ ተሹሟል::

ከፍጥረት ወገን ከእመቤታችን ቀጥሎ የቅዱስ ሚካኤልን ያሕል ክብርና ርሕሩሕ የለም:: በምልጃውም: በረዳትነቱም የታወቀ መልአክ ነው:: መጽሐፍ "መልአከ ምክሩ ለእግዚአብሔር" ይለዋል:: "ወስሙ መስተሣሕልም" ይለዋል:: ቂም የሌለው: ለምሕረት የሚፋጠን: ደግ መልአክ ነውና::

በብሉይ ኪዳን በመከራ ለነበሩ ቅዱሳን ሁሉ ሞገስ: ረዳትና አዳኝ ቢሆናቸው "መጋቤ ብሉይ" ተሰኝቷል:: እሥራኤልን 40 ዘመን በበርሃ መርቷል: መግቧልም:: ቅዱስ መጽሐፍ ስለ እርሱ ብዙ ይላል:: (ዘፍ. 48:16, ኢያ. 5:13, መሳ. 13:17, ዳን. 10:21, 12:1, መዝ. 33:7, ራዕይ. 12:7)

ደስ የሚለው ደግሞ ርሕሩሑ መልአክ ከእመቤታችን ጋር ልዩ ፍቅር አለው:: ከእናቷ ማሕጸን ጀምሮ እስከ ዛሬ እነሆ አብሯት አለ:: ደስ ብሎት ይታዘዛታል:: ማማለድ ሲፈልግም "እመቤቴ ሆይ! ቅደሚ" ይላታል:: ወደ እሳት መጋረጃ አብረው ገብተው ለዓለም ምሕረትን: በረከትን ያወርዳሉ::

ቅዱስ ሚካኤልን በዚሕች ዕለት ስለ እነዚህ ነገሮች እናከብረዋለን:-
1.በመላእክት ሁሉ ላይ አለቃ ሆኖ መሾሙን
2.ቅዳሴ ቤቱን (ግብፅ ውስጥ)
3.ቅድስት አፎምያን መርዳቱን
4.ቅዱስ ባሕራንን መጎብኘቱን
5.ቅዱስ ላሊበላን ወደ ሰማያት ማሳረጉን
6.ለፍጥረታት ሁሉ ምሕረት የሚጠይቅበት ዕለት ነውና::

††† ሊቀ መላእክት በክንፈ ረድኤቱ ከክፉ ሁሉ ይጠብቀን::

††† ✝✝ቅዱስ ላል ይበላ ንጉሥ †††✝✝

††† በ12ኛው መቶ ክ/ዘመን መጨረሻ ላይ በሃገራችን የነገሠው ቅዱስ ላሊበላ:-
¤በብሥራተ መልአክ ተወልዷል
¤ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍትን ገና በልጅነቱ አጥንቷል
¤የንጉሥ ዘር ቢሆንም በጾምና ጸሎት: በትሕርምት አድጓል
¤በወንድሙ ቢገረፍም ቂም አልነበረውም
¤ስለ ወዳጆቹ ፍቅር መርዝ ጠጥቷል
¤በዙፋን ላይ የኢትዮዽያ ንጉሥ ሆኖ ቢቀመጥም እርሱስ አኗኗሩ ገዳማዊ ነበር
¤ከተባረከች ሚስቱ ቅድስት መስቀል ክብራ ጋር አንዲት ማዕድ ብቻ በቀን ይቀምሱ ነበር:: ለዛውም ለምለሙን ለነዳያን ሰጥተው እነርሱ የሚበሉት የእንጀራውን ቅርፍት (ጠርዝ) ብቻ ነበር::

በአካለ ሥጋ ወደ ሰማያት ተነጥቆ ብዙ ምሥጢራትን አይቷል
¤በምሳሌውም ሃገረ ሮሃን (ላስታን) ገንብቷል
¤ዛሬም ድረስ ምስጢር የሆኑት ፍልፍል አብያተ መቃድስ የእጆቹ ሥራዎች ናቸው::

ሥራውን ከፈጸመ በኋላ መንግሥቱን ለቅዱስ ነአኩቶ ለአብ አውርሶ: በመንኖ ጥሪትና በቅድስና ኑሮ በዚሕች ቀን አርፏል:: ጌታችን ስምህን ያከበረ: ዝክርህን የዘከረ: ከቤትህ ያደረውን: ከርስተ መንግስተ ሰማያት አካፍለዋለሁ ሲል ቃል ኪዳን ገብቶለታል::

††† በረከቱን: ክብሩን ያድለን::

††† ቅድስት አፎምያ †††
ከቅዱስ አስተራኒቆስ ጋር በተቀደሰ ትዳር የኖረች
¤ምጽዋትን ያዘወተረች
¤በፍቅረ ቅዱሳን የጸናች
¤ንጽሕናዋን ጠብቃ ሰይጣንን ያሳፈረች ደግ እናት ናት:: ዛሬ የቅዱስ ሚካኤልን ስዕል ታቅፋ: በትእምርተ መስቀልም አማትባ አርፋለች: ቅዱሱ መልአክም ወደ ገነት አሳርጓታል::

††† ✝✝ቅዱስ ባሕራን ቀሲስ †††✝✝

የደጋግ ክርስቲያኖች ግን የድሆች ልጅ:
¤በሕጻንነቱ በግፍ ወደ ባሕር የተጣለ:
¤በእግዚአብሔር ጥበብ አድጎ የግፈኛውን ንብረት የወረሰ:
¤በመልካም ትዳር በቅስና ያገለገለ:
¤ምጽዋትን ያዘወተረ: አብያተ ክርስቲያናትን ያሳነጸ ደግ ክርስቲያን ነው::
¤በዚህች ቀን አርፎ ቅዱስ ሚካኤል ወዳጁ በዕረፍተ ገነት አኑሮታል::
